There are a variety of wildlife activities in Victoria Falls including:
Victoria Falls Activities + Sunset Booze & Wildlife Cruise
On Tuesday, guests will have the opportunity to take in the breathtaking views of Victoria Falls.
After a day of falls-related activities, we will set sail on the Zambezi River for a sunset cruise that includes snacks, unlimited drinks, and wildlife sightings.
There are a variety of activities around Victoria Falls including:
Activities + Rehearsal Dinner
Wednesday will be our last day in Victoria Falls, and this is a chance for guests to book activities they didn't get to do earlier in the week, shop, or relax by the poolside.
This will be the last opportunity to purchase souvenirs as Hwange does not have many shops. The Victoria Falls city center has many small stores where you can find a variety of souvenirs and gift.
At 5:00 PM, Dr. and Mrs. Brown will host guests for the rehearsal dinner.
Drinks, speeches, and dancing to follow.
Transfer to Hwange Safari Lodge
On Thursday morning, guests will check out of Elephant Hills and be transported to Hwange Safari Lodge.
Guests can choose to depart on the shuttles at 9:30 AM or 3:00 PM.
Situated on a water hole where a variety of animals gather, guests are immersed in nature. Hwange offers comfort, modern conveniences, and an opportunity to experience the real African wild.
We have negotiated a group rate for game drives departing from the lodge for $25/person, so this would be a great opportunity to go on an evening safari in the African bush.
In the evening, Mr. and Mrs. Tshatedi will host a poolside barbeque.
The Big Day
Friday morning, guests will have an opportunity to do a morning game drive.
The wedding ceremony will begin at 3:00 PM, and the festivities will conclude around 1:00 AM. The reception will feature a buffet-style dinner and an open bar.
Travel/Rest Day
For our guests who need to be back at work on Monday, transportation will be available for Saturday flights from Victoria Falls airport.
Guests are welcome to stay at Hwange an extra day to take in more of the scenery and spend more time with the bride, groom, and other guests.
Guests who stay are welcome to join us for a "Bush Dinner." A buffet-style dinner will be set up in the bush where you can enjoy food and potential animal sightings. The cost is $40.
